While the limited ability to save games on Survival difficulty may increase the challenge and stop you from the temptation to reload when things don't go exactly your way, it can also get frustrating when trying to stop the game at a certain point and then branch off into different directions to try different endings or different outcomes for certain quests. Or perhaps you simply want to try out a mod and go back to a previous save once you're done with the mod, maybe you don't want that mod to be a permanent part of your game. Maybe you just want backups in case your save is corrupted but don't want to manually move files.

Or maybe you are exactly the kind of person that reloads a game when things don't go precisely your way.

In order to fix those problems, this mod now allows you to save the game more easily while playing on Survival. You'll no longer need to sleep in a bed.

The chem station now offers the following craftable items to help you save your game:

AtomiCo Recordable Tape - This is a holotape that, when activated, creates a permanent save game file. This file will not be deleted and is separate from the Survival autosaves.

AtomiCo Nuka-Vitality - This is a fraudulent and otherwise useless food supplement that nevertheless forcibly triggers an autosave when you swallow a pill. This acts like a chem but doesn't cause an addiction, doesn't make you hungry, thirsty or tired and isn't consumed on use. Unlike the holotape this can be hotkeyed to a number as any other chem/weapon/clothing to emulate a quicksave. Note, this isn't a real quicksave, you will need to load manually and also the file is deleted once 3 newer autosaves appear.

The mod can be used on a non-Survival game as well, although it is kinda useless for it.

Compatibility: There shouldn't be any compatibility issues with any other mod. The mod simply adds two new craftable items with their own scripts, it doesn't edit anything in the game, it doesn't change other Survival features like needing to eat, it doesn't edit things added by other mods, it doesn't depend on other mods.
