Restore the old version of Hot Blood and Dragon Awakening system

🎮 This mod aims to fully restore the Blood and Dragon Awakening system in the original game for **Saejima Taiga** and **Kima Kiryu** in "Yakuza Kiwami 3"! If you miss that classic combat rhythm, this mod is for you.

✨ Core changes

  • **Hot Blood Driven Dragon's Awakening**: It now requires at least **1 block of hot blood** to activate the Dragon's Awakening state.
  • **End when the blood bar is exhausted**: The Dragon's Awakening state will automatically end when the blood bar is exhausted.
  • **Active cancellation function**: Players can actively end this state by pressing the designated Dragon Awakening button.
  • **DRAGON FINISHING REMOVED**: The original Dragon's finishing move has been disabled.

🎯 Specific adjustments for Saejima

In order to adapt to the new blood system, the UI of Saejima has also been adjusted accordingly:

  • **Heart-shaped UI removed**: Saejima’s unique heart-shaped health UI has been removed.
  • **Remove independent meter bar**: The independent meter bar originally used in Dragon's Awakening has been removed, and its function is completely replaced by the blood bar.

⚠️ Notes

The mod contains an optional UI change. If you use other UI modules that modify the appearance of the blood tank, it may conflict with this module, so please be aware.

💡 **Usage Suggestions**: This mod brings combat resource management back to the classics. You need to manage the blood value more carefully to decide when to launch the powerful Dragon Awakening. The strategy and rhythm of combat will be significantly improved!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
