Yakuza 3 Licensed Music Patch
🎵 **Yakuza 3 Authorized Music Patch** 🎵
✨ Module Introduction
With the release of "Yakuza 3: Kiwami", Sega failed to renew the licensing agreement with Z+Music, resulting in the inability to retain Eikichi Yazawa's songs in the game. This has to be said to be a pity.
Therefore, RGG Studio turned to the band **ROTTENGRAFFTY** to create a new theme song "Ikizama [Way of Life]".
This module aims to **restore the original licensed music** and bring classic melodies back to the game!
---
🎶 Function details
- **Restore specific cutscene music**: During a specific cutscene later in the game, the song **"Jikan yo tomare"** is restored.
- **Restore Credits Music**: In the **Staffroll** at the end of the game, the song **"Omoi ga afuretara"** is restored.
Additionally, as the credits for Yakuza 3 have been extended, the song **"LOSER"** will now appear as the second song in the credits. At the same time, "LOSER" also replaced the final long battle version of "Ikizama" and the version of "Ikizama" in the music player.
---
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES & COMPATIBILITY
- **Language Support**: Currently this module **only supports Japanese dubbing**. Credits text reflecting new song information is currently **English only**.
- **Additional Content**: The LOSER patch that replaces the final long battle music will be available as an **extra download**. At the same time, a compatibility patch for the "Classic Music" mod will also be provided.
- **Installation Method**: This mod and its add-ons need to be installed using **Shin Ryu Mod Manager**.
- **Mod Compatibility**:
- **Compatibility Rating: Moderate**
- Mods that replace the battle theme song may conflict with the "LOSER" battle music replacement function, but other functions should work normally.
- If you would like to hear "LOSER" instead of the original song during the "Clay Doll on the Cradle" scene, be sure to download the compatibility patch for the "Classic Music" mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
