Automatically back up saves when saving games

Automatically back up saves when saving games
MOD Introduction:
When the game is archived, the archive before the archive is automatically backed up to prevent bad files and lost files.
Installation method:
Use UMM to install the MOD and enable the MOD after entering the game.
illustrate:
Check Automatically back up when the game is archived. Before the game is archived, the previous archive will be automatically backed up to the SaveBackup folder in the root directory of the game. The larger the last number, the more recent it is.
The number of backup saved copies indicates how many backup copies of an archive are retained, such as 3 copies. File A can retain up to three copies of the archive. If a new file B is opened, file B will also save up to 3 copies, for a total of 6 copies.
Backup now will immediately save the current archive to the SaveBackup folder (but the game will not be archived)
To restore an archive, copy the backup file to the saves folder in the root directory of the game and change the extension back to the archive name.
To prevent accidental archiving, GlobalData.gsave is also backed up. This file stores achievements, whether the tutorial has been completed, and other data common to all files.
If you lose achievements and other data, you can restore this file to the saves folder in the game root directory and remove the last extension.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
