Originally designed to complement the Cone of Fire mod, but you can use it as needed.
NOTE: Cannons, DLC and mod guns do not get Suppression by default and must be enabled via the menu.
illustrate:
-Install MCM
-Install MOD, run XCOM 2, clear notifications, and restart the game
-Get suppressed visualization fix if you don't already have it
With shoulder main menu, press the MOD settings button
-Selection suppressed weapon pack, tick the gun you want
- Save and close the menu, then restart XCOM 2
-Enjoy!
- E3245 Mega Pack support
Because of how E3245 implements his weapon templates, you need to replace each weapon's config file with a modded config file to add Suppression. I've provided mod files for the Pistol, Sidearm, Rifle, Bulldog, and LMG in the Mega Pack.
illustrate:
-Go to __\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\701134101\ and copy/cut E3245_WOTC_suppression.zip
-Go to __\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\1132835147\Config and paste E3245_WOTC_suppression.zip there
-Extract the files in E3245_WOTC_suppression.zip and allow them to replace all the config files for the guns.
-If you don't want certain guns or gun types to get Suppression, delete the relevant files/folders before unzipping and replacing the config files.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
