About this mod Machine translation

A mod that unlocks all customization options for all armor types, including civilian armor.

Disclaimer/Warning: When you activate a mod and save a game with it, xcom2 will prevent you from loading the save game when you deactivate the mod later! Please make sure you understand this. However, I do provide an option to deactivate large parts of this mod in a given .ini file.

I also added a "no arms" and "no legs" option (usually the last option on the list) to remove clipping issues. The short form is: Civilian armor does not have arms/legs, and if you choose another arm or leg option you will get unwanted clipping issues.

This mod is compatible with all DLC packs.

To disable certain options/mods without breaking everything:

Find the mod folder.

[modfolder]/config/xcomallarmoroptions.ini

You can change any of these three options to "false".

mod is active-whether to activate the mod

Show Veterans Options - If you want to show veterans options to all soldiers, or just veterans options

IgnoreCharacterTemplate - whether to also show civilian options

[modfolder]/config/xcomcontent.ini

If you don't want to select "No Arms" and "No Legs", you can delete these 4 "BodyPartTemplateConfig" lines.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
