About this mod Machine translation
A collection of over 50 characters from THE WIRE for Xcom 2.
A collection of over 50 characters from the hit TV show The Wire by HBO, with fully written biographies and the best likenesses I could get, limited creations available, no real aging or weight etc (and horrible facial hair).
I created the most rookie soldiers which include VIPs, I tried to keep the most likely to fight as soldiers and VIPs because of those who held high command or political positions during the show, e.g. Burrel was just a VIP, Wee-be was just a soldier and Avon because he led and fought etc.
All can be changed easily but if you like by selecting any option you want, just take the file and add to:-
Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XcomGame/CharacterPool/Importable
Then in game go into the character pool and import THE WIRE, select all and then its goodies go.
Please note that some of the characters on the show lack any actual Christian or last names, in those cases I either use their real names to add the other half, or just use that if both names are missing, but only for a few characters.
Have fun defeating aliens with your favorite characters!!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
