About this mod Machine translation
Adds repeatable research "techniques" that are unlocked after you research Resistance communications, allowing XCOM to begin its own operations independent of Resistance providing them.
Note: Content added after installation will not be retroactively added to the campaign.
Latest Update: Created Guerilla Ops should now counter a randomly selected dark event, if one exists.
Added repeatable research "techniques", unlocked after you research Resistance Comms. By payout (by default):
for Guerilla Ops
100 supply provides 200 consumables and 75 intel, providing 150 for the Bruteforcing Facility
Intel for Council missions (or City Center operations in the mod) and Soldier Rescue Operations
Or 150 supplies for 250 supplies and 50 intel and 90 intel for Assault and UFO Downing
You will generate tasks for research of the appropriate type you choose to generate.
Exact intel, supply and time costs should be adjustable (where XCOM 2 is installed)\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\646124583\Config\XComStartOp.ini
ISSUE(S):
Due to the fact that the mission generates the code it may appear in Geoscape when Geoscape is activated, if you happen to complete the mission in Avengers the mission may visually appear in the middle of the ocean and when it is completed the mod will be set up to have the "tech" complete immediately.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
