About this mod Machine translation

**Latest major update 8/9/16 5:00 PST**

Added staff vacancies in living areas.

Note that a 50% increase in recovery speed will cause 2/3 of the fatigue time. 6 days will become 4 days etc.

After the first soldier fatigue damage, the staff will be unlocked.

There are 2 vacancies in total, no more available. This number may eventually become an option, but it keeps hitting me.

Manning a soldier in the living quarters will cause them to recover from fatigue by 50%.

Employee locations will require a campaign restart. Existing campaigns will continue to run normally, but you won't be able to earn ad slots until you start a new campaign.

Only tired soldiers can work in the living quarters.

Soldiers are lazy and will not leave their living quarters when fatigue wears off.

Employee texts can be localized.

Further future proofing to ensure retrofitted SPARK units will not fatigue.

This mod rebuilds the fatigue system from the original Long War. Every soldier experiences fatigue after returning from a mission. If exhausted soldiers perform a mission, they will function normally during the mission but will eventually receive a wound.

This mod has an MCM options page. I highly recommend using it as it's much better than editing ini files.

This mod makes some changes to the original Long War fatigue level. Most of this changes in the settings. See the Current Additions section below for details.

If you use original fatigue mode and switch to this mode, you will be able to use this in the same save without issue. Just make sure to only open this mod or the original version. This mod will be able to load any save data from original.

Current additions:

  • New option for wounded soldier fatigue (enabled by default) -

Old fatigue will be superimposed on new fatigue.

-MCM options screen.

-Fatigue is now compatible with Long War Toolbox and other mods that make sweeping changes to several systems.

  • The phrases "fatigue", "days" and "hours" can be changed in the localization file for translation.

-SPARK class units do not experience fatigue.

  • Work slots in the living area allow faster recovery from fatigue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
