About this mod Machine translation

Hush, Bradford! Removed several recurring VO narrative events from the game.

Removed Bradford VO's account of civilian deaths during revenge missions.

As with all other mods, if you uninstall it after using it in a campaign, the game will default to loading saves that previously used it. This can be solved with the "Ignore Missing Content DLC" mod. This mod will make no permanent changes to your saves and should be completely safe to uninstall as long as you use the mod above.

Update 2016-02-12:

Additional clips added to the .ini configuration can be removed, provided by BlueRaja. By default, only the same VO for the first three civilian deaths is disabled, but the included config file has several other options you can disable. The functionality of this mod is also rolled into the "Stop Wasting My Time" mod. If you use this mod, this module is no longer needed. This mod will be retained for those who don't want to use SWMT and for those who already have SWMT enabled in their campaigns to avoid save corruption.

The configuration file can be found in the Config folder of the download package. Open XComQuietBradford.ini in a text editor and add or remove the ";" character in front of the line to enable or disable the VO for that event. Additional VO strings can be found in the DefaultNarratives.ini file in the XCom2 configuration folder. Only tactical mission VO can be deleted at this time.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
