Action point cost of removing hacker containers/targets/etc
Have you ever reached the point on the last turn before a mission failed, only for the container/workstation/thing to explode in your face because it required an action point to unencrypt it despite standing next to it?
This mod is for you!
This mod removes the cost of AP close range hacks (like targets), which reduces chi when you finally reach the target you need to attack (on the last turn before the mission fails) and you don't end up without any AP.
I spent most of today trying to get it working - it was, I believe, the first engine level replacement module at the workshop. I need to sleep (it's 2am) but the mod should be working and ready for people to try. If it has no errors, please tell me, if not, what is the problem! I'll fix it tomorrow.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
