Name your pet

Allows you to rename any mind-controlled or hacked enemies during a mission. Works with aliens, robots, and even turrets.

Why should you name your pet? Well, that's more fun than calling your dog 'dog'. Of course, it usually doesn't last long, but Psi Operative with Domination can make them part of the family, so make them feel welcome.

If you want to see your pet's name on the debrief screen when it earns a reward, unfortunately you'll still see its template name. However, my other mod Mission Award Variety does support your custom names, so grab it if you want your pet to go down in history!

Known issues:

• Once your mind control or hack wears off, your pet will go back to his original "name", which is kind of lame, but I haven't figured out how to keep it without going above and beyond the course.
• If your pet is the last unit in the team and you try to select another unit, its name will temporarily revert to the old unit, but will return next round (if it is still under your control).

Doesn't override any classes, so it should work with most mods. Specifically, I've tested it using popular mods that modify unit flags:
