About this mod Machine translation
Added a reputation system to encourage all Colonel A-Team players to continuously complete all missions.
Squad Notoriety adds notoriety to your soldiers, scaling based on their rank (a squad will gain approximately 5 days of notoriety after a mission, a colonel will gain 35 days), as well as when civilian casualties occur during a mission (an additional 2 days for each civilian murdered). This decays over time (i.e. waiting a full 35 days after a mission completes will completely clear the Colonel of infamy.), and is randomized from -24 hours to +24 hours, depending on how the RNG rolls.
All of this is combined and averaged between the soldiers of a squad, with increasing penalties as the average increases:
With an average hit rate of 10 days + active infamy for a squad, each soldier will experience the effects of vigilance when concealed. I haven't tested it, but if it's active it's likely to stack with Vigilance.
Once a squad reaches an average of 20+ days of active infamy, an additional reinforcement will be summoned and will land in the mission area 3 times after the mission begins. The default setting is ADVx3_Standard.
Once a squad reaches an average of 30 days + active infamy, squad concealment will be lost if applicable (soldier phantoms will still work normally) and additional reinforcements will be upgraded to ADVx3_Strong.
A team reaches an average of 40 points days + active infamy, and when they begin combat, the squad will activate a map alert, causing all pods to converge on the squad's position.
These penalties do not apply to missions set in Wilderness or Shanty episode types by default.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
