About this mod Machine translation
There are now more enemies if you wish!
This XComMissions.ini adjusts the number of enemies spawned in each pod to one (except in some cases where a lone unit is given a company of two other units). Therefore, it is incompatible with any adjustments that touch the same file.
For the Alien Hunter Edition...please wait. Sadly there are a lot of complications and I invite anyone who can make a (working) version as soon as possible.
Most notably, I don't have the DLC yet and I'm worried that the method I'm using might not work since it appears the DLC.ini is like a mod.
Now, what are the criteria for deciding which enemy to add?
Well, probably the weakest unit currently encountered gets a copy. This is subject to change and more testing will be needed. It's likely that other support units will be used in the future (most likely not Advent troops, as there are already a lot of them, and boss type enemies might be a bit much...).
It is worth mentioning that the number of pods is not affected.
Apparently, more bodies means more sales. Balance is a very complex thing, and this adjustment is just one step towards making this grand game even grander (and more interesting in one way and another).
Plus version contains more enemies.
Notable changes: - in
In IESS, Enemy Pods of size 3 have been phased out and all 4 size pods of IESS have been upgraded to 5. (=> at least two more than vanilla)
- Pods size 5 and above are not modified further. (=>There is one more enemy than vanilla)
- Plus, there's no limit to the number of enemies you can draw, so be prepared to overrun if you're not careful.
-Handpicked some spawns for more variety and possible dangers.
Change range from
"ConfigurableEncounters = (EncounterID = "ADVx2_Standard", [...]" up to and including "ConfigurableEncounters = (EncounterID = "Blacksite_FillPatrol", [...]"

If it doesn't work, you may need to make the file read-only.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
