Latest update (2.2)
New Feature: Units discovered via the Combat Scanner or Scanning Protocol should now display a line of sight icon.
Fixed blinking sight icon when moving mouse quickly.
Fixed a vanilla game bug where dark VIP used the wrong indicator arrow icon, the friendly VIP icon (blue bust with XCOM logo) instead of the proper dark VIP icon (red alien bust). This way we can use our own custom icons to identify blobs and direct gaze status in dark VIP. Happy assassination everyone!
Gaze icons are now temporarily suppressed when the over-the-shoulder camera is active because they do not represent the device's current location.
Predictions involving peeks down the flank were rejected. This should resolve several instances of the wrong icon being displayed.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
