About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds a dynamic soldier stat development to the battlefield known as Iron Alliance (and probably many other similar games). By performing actions during missions, your soldiers can improve their statistics - it's like real training for them, after all! But be careful! If they get hit, their abilities decrease, after all it's hard to run around when you're injured!
Your soldiers develop their statistics during missions by performing actions
Shooting is bad for you!
Highly customizable via profiles* - you can even turn into cheat mode if you want!
- Note: Usual configuration file location:
<your Steam installation>\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\627264819\Config\XComRQ_DynamicStatsDevelopment.ini
compatibility
This is provided as an extension of the UIScreenListener class, so it should be compatible with everything!
Many people asked about compatibility with modes such as Uncreated Equality, Hidden Potential, etc.
Is it all those mods? To me they are...so...they are very competitive!
Current features
Shooting/cutting can improve your goals
Killing will improve your will
Running can improve your mobility
Dodge improves your dodge (uh...)
Hacking can improve your hacking(er...)
Getting shots reduces stats
You have a chance to get stat gains - easier to hit -> smaller bonuses
Your soldier level changes the stat gain - it's harder to develop, but also harder to break!
All of the above can be changed via configuration!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
