About this mod Machine translation
Ironman-lite allows saving between missions, but within a mission it acts like Ironman.
This mod adds a "Bronzeman" mode, somewhat like Ironman lite. There is no saving during the mission, but you can save everything you want back to the Avengers. This means you can't repeat a turn, but you can restart the entire mission. Play smart, Commander!
Version 0.92 Release Notes:
- Now works with the Alien Hunters patch.
Version 0.91 Release Notes:
- Recompiled for the latest Xcom 2 patch (as of December 3, 2016).
- Added experimental "rollback" feature that attempts to load you into your most recent Geoscape autosave. The Bronzeman Mod triggers a Geoscape autosave whenever you enter/exit Geoscape, so as long as you pop/slide out of Geoscape between tasks you'll be fine.
Version 0.9 Release Notes:
- We recommend that you enable automatic delivery when playing Bronzeman campaigns. Autosave will automatically give you a checkpoint in Geoscape before starting each task. If you turn off automatic protection, it is up to you to save before the task.
- There is a "Restart Task" button in the to-do list. The vanilla "restart task" code was buggy, so we decided it was best not to display it. We are considering building our own "restart mission" button.
- The mod is not compatible with the new game tutorial for technical reasons, similar to why you can't have Ironman and the tutorial at the same time. We are looking for a solution.
- If Ironman mode is enabled, Ironman mode will override Bronzeman mode because Ironman is more restrictive.
compatibility:
- This mod *overrides* the New Game dialog and Pause Menu, so please note compatibility with any other mods that touch these two menus.
- You can safely remove this mod and resume Bronzeman activity. When you do this, the save game will revert to a normal non-Ironman game. But to do this, you need to install the "Ignore Missing Content" mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
