compatibility
This mod edits already created templates, so any other mods also using these templates should still work. However, it adds new attribute abilities to each piece of armor, so any mod that modifies these abilities will have no effect, but any mod that adds additional abilities to a piece of armor (for example, adding grapple to Kevlar armor) should work as expected.
It shouldn't affect the save game, but if you're going to use it in a save game, I guess it's better to load the base, rather than in a mission, as I'm not sure how it will handle values that may change (e.g. if you use this value to add 10 HP, but removing it puts your soldiers at -3). But of course, this is no guarantee.
If another mod completely overrides these templates, this mod won't do anything at all.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
