About this mod Machine translation
The aliens have added a new unit to their ADVENT force. Now introducing Pastor ADVENT.
ADVENT Priest is a direct support unit. Their healing and supportive Psionic abilities make up for their lack of offensive prowess.
Their bread and butter skill is "Soulmend". ADVENT Priest fires a bolt of healing psi energy that, you guessed it, heals the target.
They can also remove any negative effects affecting their allies through Mind Cleanse. AoE abilities remove all negative effects except things like mind control and death.
ADVENT Priest also possess some abilities that empower their allies. Psi Guard gives 2 points of armor for a moderate amount of time in small AoE. Additionally, they have Distortion Field, a passive aura that gives allies +10 defense within an 8-watt radius.
There are three levels of ADVENT priests. Only the basic model that comes with Soulmend. High Priest, with improved Soulmend and Mind Cleanse. Elite Priest comes with the entire package as well as Soulmend's ultimate form, which heals 5 health and has a 2-turn cooldown.
ADVENT Priests require focus, and while they won't do much damage and their targets aren't the biggest, they will be a pest, constantly healing their allies and giving them armor. If there are more than 2 ADVENT priests on the battlefield, you can bet on a long confrontation. However, to ensure you get some damage, you can only have 2 priests per pod.
After completing the ADVENT Priest Autopsy research, you will be able to craft a patch grenade that heals all friendly units in the target area. Upgrade it to a Patch Bomb with Advanced Grenade Research for greater radius, range, and healing. Grenade heals 3 health points, Bomb heals 5 health points.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
