TrueLight Lite SDR image quality enhancement ReShade preset
🎮 **Original SDR mode of the game** looks dull and gray, and can only adjust the gamma value. So I made this lightweight ReShade preset! It only uses **5 effects** (Levels, Tonemap, DPX, HSLShift, CAS). The goal is to make the blacks deeper and the whites brighter, making the overall picture clearer and more transparent. I also adjusted the color to make my skin look healthier and rosy when exposed to the sun, rather than pale.
✨ Default Features
- **Performance Friendly**: Only 5 effects are used, with minimal impact on performance.
- **UI Clear and Readable**: The interface remains clean and clear, unlike some other presets that make the UI too bright, too dark, or too colorful (if you know how to make ReShade not affect the game UI, please tell me!).
- **Easy to adjust**: All parameters can be modified freely, and you can make the effect stronger or softer as you like.
- **Optional Sharpening**: If you don't like the sharpening effect, just turn off CAS and you will get about **+3 frames** performance improvement!
💡 **Suitable for people**: Players who want to make SDR images look better, but don’t want to use complicated and heavy filters.

🔧 Additional instructions
After testing, this preset perfectly supports **HDR1000 and above monitors**, with stunning effects and full use of the dynamic range of the screen.
⚠️ **But please note**: Using this preset on a monitor **less than HDR1000 specifications** may cause the picture to be **severely overexposed**.

📥 Installation steps
(Modified from Luxor's Reshade for Wuchang Fallen Feathers)
- Go to download the latest version of ReShade.
- Download the `TrueLight Lite.ini` file from this page and unzip it.
- Place the `TrueLight Lite.ini` file into the game directory:
`Steam\steamapps\common\Wuchang Fallen Feathers\Project_Plague\Binaries\Win64`
(That is the folder where the game exe file is located).
- Run the ReShade installer, select `Project_Plague-Win64-Shipping.exe`, and select **Direct3D 10/11/12**.
- For **Game Pass version**, select `gamelauncherhelper.exe`.
- When prompted to select a preset, browse to and select `TrueLight Lite.ini`.
The installer automatically downloads the required shader files.
- (If prompted for shader files) Copy the `reshade-shaders` folder I provided to the same directory and select overwrite.
- Launch the game, wait for the shaders to load, then press the **Home button** to open the ReShade menu.
- Click "Continue", then click the "+" icon in the upper right corner and select `TrueLight Lite.ini`.
- The preset should now be in effect!
Hope you like this preset! If you think the effect is good, please come back and give us a like! 👍
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
