As we all know, the new version cannot enable DLAA normally, and a temporary solution is now provided.
This method is equivalent to rolling the game back to the first version (178067) + the two files updated by patch v1.4
Installation instructions:
- Delete the Wuchang Fallen Feathers (game root directory)\Project_Plague\Content\Paks directory.
Project_Plague-Windows_250725_7358466_P.pak
Project_Plague-Windows_250725_7358466_P.sig
Project_Plague-Windows_0_P.pak
Project_Plague-Windows_0_P.sig
- Extract the first version Project_Plague-Windows_0_P.pak and Project_Plague-Windows_0_P.sig files to Wuchang Fallen Feathers (game root directory)\Project_Plague\Content\Paks (uploaded)
(You can also start the game directly, which is equivalent to rolling back the version to a version earlier than the first version (178000) + the two files updated by patch v1.4)
Note:
- Since the first version of the file is used to replace the new version of the file, unknown problems may occur.
- If the game is updated, you may need to re-execute the installation instructions 1-2
- The validity of the patch can be verified through the console command r.ScreenPercentage.
- As of now, the version (v1.4) is valid, and subsequent versions are not guaranteed (but it should be fine)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
