WL VLC Cinema
Client-side mod that replaces the cinema screen with a VLC media player
About this mod Author’s original text
Wobbly Life VLC
This client-side mod replaces the cinema screen with a VLC media player.
This can be used to put local media files, external files through http, streams through rtmp and everything else VLC supports onto the screen in the cinema.
You do NOT have to be the host (i think) as the mod is client-sided and only replaces the screen for you.
I cannot guarantee that it will work on linux.
NOTE:
You can change the resolution in the config though 1080p and higher may cause lag.
How To Configure
You can configure the mod using the config file at /BepInEx/config/wlVLC.cfg, or launcher config page, but i recommend installing one of these plugins so you can change it in-game:

NOTE:
You need to install the mono versions of the mods.
To play a file locally from your computer change the FixedMediaPath to the path to the file so:
FixedMediaPath = path/to/file.type or if using one of the config manager mods just the path. Also make sure to set UseNetworkUrl to false so:
UseNetworkUrl = false
To play something over http so from a url change the NetworkResourceURL to the url so:
NetworkResourceURL = or if using one of the config manager mods just the url. Also make sure to change UseNetworkUrl to true.
If playing a live stream from rtmp or similar follow the steps for http but replace the http with rtmp. Also make sure to change OptimizeForLiveStream to true.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
