White Knuckle - Load Into Level
Summary
This mod allows you to load into the specified scene directly upon starting the game or instead of a specific gamemode - e.g. the tutorial.
By default, it drops you directly into the playground when you launch the game.
Configuration
You can choose the scene to be replaced and the scene that will replace it in the mod config file.
For example, to launch the playground instead of the tutorial, set SceneToReplace to Training-Level while leaving SceneToLoad set to Playground.
List of available scenes:
- Game-Main - the main game scene, used for all standard gameplay
- Game-Main-Holiday - the special holiday event mode, aka "The Chimney"; currently doesn't seem to load properly
- Intro - the intro cutscene
- Main-Menu - the main menu
- Playground - the dev playground level
- Training-Level - the tutorial level
[!NOTE]
The Game-Main scene has additional level-loading logic tied to it, depending on what game mode was selected.
Currently this mod doesn't support making use of it - it will simply load the specified scene without any additional logic (WIP)
Refer to M_Gamemode and CL_GameManager classes in game's code for more information on the scene-loading behavior.
The config file can be found at \BepInEx\config\com.validaq.loadintolevel.cfg

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
