WARNING!!
Please disable all custom species mods while using this mod. In a future update, you will be able to retain any custom species you have, and even transform your Mii Characters into animals, and/or play alongside them.
Additionally, if you are a Calico mod user, you are required to set "PlayerOptimizationsEnabled" to false.
Main Menu
When launching the game, there will be new buttons on the main menu, one for creating Mii™ characters, and the other for converting Mii characters from legacy formats, such as the Wii and Nintendo DS.
Mii Maker
- First, select a style that you prefer for your Mii.
- Then, select face and body features to edit your Mii.
a. Choose a type of feature
b. Choose a feature
c. Show more features or editable parts of the feature
- Create a profile for your Mii.
When saving, you will be directed to [user://Mii/charinfo/Player] in order to save your Mii.
Please give the file a unique name and save it in this location.
Exporting Mii characters from Nintendo consoles
This mod allows you to convert Mii characters from legacy file formats into those usable with Fish with Mii.
You may export Mii characters from Nintendo Consoles using these tools:
- WiiXplorer (Export Wii Database):
- Savegame Manager GX (Export individual Wii Miis):
- MiiPort (Export Nintendo Switch Miis):
Support for Wii U/3DS Mii characters are planned in the future.
Converting Mii Characters
- Select your legacy Mii file format.
Do not confuse converting a single Mii with converting a database. These are different file formats.
If your system is not listed here, you may not convert a Mii character using this mod directly.
FOR NINTENDO SWITCH FORMAT FILES
Nintendo Switch.charinfo files are supported directly and do not need to be converted.
Please place these files in [user://Mii/charinfo/Player], otherwise known as [C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\webfishing_2_newver\Mii\charinfo\Player].
- Select your Mii file.
After obtaining your legacy Mii files, please place them in [user://Mii/import], otherwise known as [C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\webfishing_2_newver\Mii\import].
Your Mii file will be converted to.charinfo, and placed in [user://Mii/charinfo/Player]. You may now select the Mii in the game, or edit them with the Mii Maker.
Selecting a Mii character.
When you first join a lobby, you will be represented by a Guest Mii character.
To change this, there is a Mii in the lobby, called Jaya. Talk to him to access the Mii selection menu.
Please note that you are able to teleport to Jaya at anytime, by pressing the Escape button, and selecting to [Return to Spawn].
WARNING ABOUT CUSTOM MAPS
Custom maps are untested, and you may be unable to locate or reach close enough to Jaya. There will be an update that will allow map creators to reposition Jaya to accessible locations in the future.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Most WEBFISHING mods need the GDWeave loader; the bundled readme explains where files go.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
