Speedometer
Version 1.0.0
For Game Version 1.3.0
Developed by Jack
Some AI tooling used
Requires: BepInEx-BepInExPack-5.4.2305, NihilityShift-VoidManager-1.2.11
💡 Function(s)
- Adds a third readout to the flight HUD, right beside the O2 and Temperature
widgets, showing your current speed in m/s.
- Display-only: it reads your local velocity and draws a number. No gameplay effect.
🎮 Client Usage
- Nothing to set up - the readout appears on the HUD automatically.
- Settings are in the F5 menu under Mod Settings → Speedometer: hide the readout, or
smooth the number with a short rolling average if you prefer a steadier display.
👥 Multiplayer Functionality
- ✅ Client
- Only you need this mod. It changes nothing for anyone else in the room, and it does
not mark the session as modded.
🔧 Install Instructions - Install following the normal BepInEx procedure.
Ensure that you have BepInEx 5 (stable version 5 MONO) and VoidManager installed.
✔️ Mod installation - Unzip the contents into the BepInEx plugin directory
Drag and drop Speedometer.dll into Void Crew\BepInEx\plugins, or install through r2modman / Gale.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
