About this mod Author’s original text
QuakeMove
QuakeMove is a Voices of the Void mod that ports Quake's movement to VOTV. No longer are you bound by your ATV, as you can use your new movement strategies to navigate the map in record time.
QuakeMod Currently Includes:
- Anti-Ragdoll (Semi-Complete, Preserves speed and Makes Kel stand up quicker.)
- Air-Strafing (Complete, Can change Air Acceleration in Settings.)
- BHopping (Complete, Option to Enable AutoBHop/AutoJump)
- Jump Height Boost (Complete, Can be disabled)
- CSGO BHopping Music (Complete, Can be enabled in Settings. Music plays when you go 2.5x faster than walking)
- Surfing (Semi-Complete, you can't surf upwards to jump off, only downwards.)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
