Better Politics Mod(v1.13)

by Better Politics Mod·v1.0.0·Updated 2026-05-11

About this mod Machine translation

The goal of BPM is to make politics more dynamic, more readable, more materialistic, and more historically accurate. Specifically, it aims to correct these problems we had with the base game:

  • Only seven interest groups are far from representative of the breadth of political history.
  • The ideology of IG leaders has an excessive and random impact on politics. For example, a trade union may turn from communist to reactionary overnight.
  • All inspectors general are united within themselves, while in reality many experience infighting and division. Why do all city workers have to become communists at the same time? Where are the moderates?
  • Political parties are shallow. They are too arbitrary, forming and dissipating too frequently. Leagues are either small and boring, or huge and illegitimate.
  • There is almost no international interaction between IGs, and many members actively communicate and collaborate.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
