Yggdrasil's Reach
Build beneath the branches of the world tree.
Welcome to Yggdrasil's Reach! This is the modpack we use for our adventures together in Valheim, with more ways to build, keep our halls stocked, and enjoy life between boss fights.
Whether you're putting the finishing touches on a longhouse or heading out to see what's over the next mountain, grab the pack and come join us.
What's new in 1.0.2
A friendlier welcome and clearer installation instructions. No mods, mod versions, or gameplay settings have changed.
Added in 1.0.1
Two new additions join the pack:
- FlyWithHammer 1.1.1
- DadsVeinmine 1.0.2
That brings us to 40 mods and supporting libraries. Everything from 1.0.0 is still here, at the same versions.
Getting started
- Open Mod Manager or r2modman and select Valheim.
- Create a fresh profile called Yggdrasil's Reach so everything stays together.
- Install this modpack and let the manager download its required mods.
- Launch the game using Start modded, then join us with the server details shared by the host.
Already playing with us? Back up your working profile before updating, and check that your mod versions match the list below.
Keeping everyone in sync
Please wait for a pack update before updating individual mods. That helps us keep everyone's game lined up with the server and spend more time playing together.
This pack doesn't include custom settings. If you need help with settings or joining the server, ask the host and we'll get you pointed in the right direction.
A note for server hosts
This is the full player pack, so it includes client-side mods too. Keep your server's working mod setup and match the shared mod versions when updating. If your container uses a MODS list, you'll still need to update its server mods separately.
Back up your world and settings first, then test that players can connect before inviting everyone back in.

Thank you
A huge thank-you to all the mod authors whose work makes these adventures possible. Each mod belongs to its creator, and the mod manager downloads their releases when you install the pack.
Our world-tree icon was generated especially for Yggdrasil's Reach.
See you beneath the branches!
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
