WiresWeaponMaster
See the weapons and tools you use on your character
About this mod Author’s original text
A visual weapon holster overhaul that displays your recently used weapons and tools across Valheim’s existing holster positions. Fully client-side.
==
Custom keybind, kinda: hold R for about a second (or whatever you have weapon stowing set to) to reset your equipment history to clear it.
Similarly also works on controller.
Multiplayer: other players using Weapon Master 0.2.0+ can see your extra holstered weapons and tools, and you can see theirs. No server install required.
The different weapon holster categories (vanilla thing) (no 2 times in the same category can be shown at the same time, latest replaces old:
- backShield, shields and dual axes
- backTool - Hip slot! hammer, knives, small stuff
- backMelee - swords, maces, etc
- backTwohandedMelee - Two handed melee, and spears for some reason
- backAtgeir - Mainly Atgeirs haven't seen anything else there
- backBow - Bows, Crossbows etc
These categories are made by the devs of Valheim and do not literally represent which items are shown in that category. Except atgeirs, those are their own specific thing i guess lol. One of these categories is the hip hammer/knife/summoning skull/small stuff slot, not sure which exactly, but dw those are shown too. and hexium pages of this mod you can see images with multiple examples of this mod in action.
Disclaimer: the code is AI assisted since I barely know C#. Not fully AI nor human.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
