Unofficial Valheim 1.0 compatibility fork
This is not the author's release. Weedheim 2.0.4 is by MagicMike - original:
All credit for the mod goes to them; the description below is theirs.
The mod was built for Valheim before 1.0 and no longer loads (MissingMethodException,
InvalidProgramException). This fork changes only the binary so it loads on Valheim 1.0
(Unity 6). Assets, gameplay and configuration are untouched. What was changed (15 call sites):
- Character.Message(type, msg, amount, icon) -> 1.0 added bool log
- EffectList.Create(pos, rot, parent, scale, variant) -> 1.0 added ZDOID gamepadEffectsExclusiveToPlayer
- SEMan.AddStatusEffect(nameHash, resetTime, itemLevel, skillLevel) -> 1.0 added short variant = -1
The patching script is in the repository, so every change can be reproduced from the original
DLL:
MagicMike: if you want this taken down, open an issue on that repository and it will be
removed the same day. The moment an official 1.0 build exists, use that instead of this fork.

Creating mods is a labor of love, a mix of long hours, personal investment, and a bit of green alchemy. From custom models to scripts and endless tweaks, each piece is hand-grown with care to enhance your Valheim experience.
If you enjoy the journey, the worlds, and the weirdness I create, there's a way to help keep the garden growing. Whether it's brewing up new features or snagging fresh assets, every bit of support helps keep the magic rolling.
Thanks for being part of the adventure. Stay lifted, stay curious!
This plugin is best installed on a new world!
When creating a new world quit the game completely, then start the game up and create the new world. If you do not do this Loki may not spawn!... To spawn Loki in a already created world, use the Upgrade World plugin with the command "locations_add lokis_trading_place".
Do not upgrade if you are happy with the old version! Many things have been changed or removed!!
(They will be added back as seperate plugins)

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
