Admins have the ability to bypass some of these settings when the AdminBypass config is enabled.
Player Default Spawn Point
Set the PlayerDefaultSpawnPoint by entering an x,y,z pair (for example: 20.5, 10, -80.7), or leave this config blank to use the default start location. To get your player's current position in game you can use the vanilla "pos" command, which will return your position (double check what format this vanilla command returns, it has changed a few times). This is the location the game will use when spawning new players, or respawning dead players with no bed point.
Hugin Tutorials
The base game added a setting to toggle Hugin tutorials on or off under the misc category. This mod will now use the game setting rather than the old config setting. However, since it is not a feature in the base game, this mod will still add all discovered tutorials to the player's "seen" list when tutorials are disabled. If the tutorials at the beginning of the game annoy you, turn off tutorials until you need to see any new tutorials your character discovers. There will not be a flood of tutorials to shift through when you finally need them again!
Messages
I Have Arrived!
This mod gives you the ability to customize the arrival message, or turn it off completely. Change the default vanilla "shout" to a normal message (UseArrivalShout = false) to get rid of the arrival shout and ping but still use the login message. Set your own message string with OverrideArrivalMessage to change the arrival message for all players. When disabling all shout pings (AllowShoutPings = false) it will also apply to this arrival message.
Boss Message Banners
When a boss is summoned, alerted, and/or killed there is a server-wide message banner sent to alert players. This can get very annoying in multiplayer games. This mod changes these messages to only send to players within 100 meters of the boss (o
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
