About this mod Author’s original text
\# Valheim – Quality of Life Modpack
A lightweight Quality of Life modpack for \\Valheim 1.0 and the Deep North update\\.
The goal is simple: \\reduce unnecessary friction without changing the core Valheim experience.\\
\## What this modpack does
\- Improves inventory and crafting usability
\- Improves UI clarity and information
\- Adds Quality of Life improvements for farming and building
\- Improves the multiplayer experience
\- Adds useful information without revealing things meant to be discovered naturally
\- Keeps vanilla progression and game balance intact
\## What this modpack does NOT do
\- No progression changes
\- No cheats
\- No increased drop rates
\- No free or unrestricted teleportation
\- No changes to enemy difficulty
\- No changes to vanilla game balance
\- No automation intended to bypass gameplay
\## Achievements
Achievements remain available while using this modpack.
Mods themselves will not prevent achievements from being earned. However, \\cheats, spawned items and other actions that normally mark a character or world as cheated will still prevent achievements.\\
The goal is to allow Quality of Life mods without turning them into a way to bypass progression.
\## Multiplayer
This modpack is designed to be used by the whole group with the same mod configuration.
Server-side configurations are enforced where supported.
\## Philosophy
\\Mods should improve the experience — not give you free progression.\\
Enjoy Valheim and the Deep North. ⚔️
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
