ValheimMassFarm
Cultivator 3x3 dense planting: plant 3x3 maximum density crops with one click; press comma to turn on automatic adsorption, and the next piece will fit seamlessly into the previous piece. Plants a 3x3 block at max density; comma toggles auto-snap so blocks tile seamlessly.
About this mod Machine translation
ValheimMassFarm
Add a "3x3 dense planting" mode to the Cultivator: plant nine 3x3 crops in one click, with the maximum density allowed by the game at the distance between the plants. Then use, (comma) to turn on "Auto-adsorption", and the next 3x3 piece will automatically fit into the previous piece, seamlessly forming a large farmland at the maximum density.
Only change "how many plants to plant at a time" and "where to plant", without changing any formula, yield, growth rate or growth rules.
Function
- 3x3 dense planting: Hold the cultivator, select any crop (saplings/seeds) and press the V switch (default off). After turning it on, a 3x3 green grid preview will be displayed at the crosshair. Click once to plant the entire 3x3 block.
- Maximum density: plant spacing = 2 × growth radius of the crop (the critical distance when the game determines "insufficient space"), that is, the densest spacing without squeezing each other.
- Automatic adsorption: press, (comma) to switch. After turning it on, the next 3x3 piece will be automatically attached to the planted dense planting grid point, and will be translated along an integer multiple of the side length of the 3x3, and will be seamlessly spliced with the previous piece. Click continuously to spread the fields outward.
- Grid preview: In dense planting mode, a wireframe is used to display the 3x3 area to be planted for easy alignment.
- Completely original behavior when close planting mode is turned off.

Install
Method 1: r2modman Mod Manager (recommended)
- Already on the shelves: Search for ValheimMassFarm in the mod manager and install it (the BepInEx dependency will be automatically brought in).
- Local package import: Download SuperVikingDepartment-ValheimMassFarm-1.0.0.zip under this repository dist/, in r2modman
Settings → Import local mod (or Install from file) select the zip.
- Manually put profile: put ValheimMassFarm.dll into
%APPDATA%\r2modmanPlus-local\Valheim\profiles\\BepInEx\plugins\ (can be placed in any subfolder).
Note: When starting the game with r2modman, the profile directory takes effect, not the BepInEx in the game installation root directory.
Method 2: Manual installation (start the game directly)
- First install BepInExPack for Valheim (denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim).
- Place ValheimMassFarm.dll into BepInEx/plugins/ in the game root directory.
- Start the game.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/SuperVikingDepartment.ValheimMassFarm.cfg is generated after first startup:
| Configuration items | Default value | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ToggleKey | V | The key to switch "3x3 dense planting" mode on and off. |
| SnapKey | Comma | The key that switches "Auto Snap" on and off. |
| SpacingMultiplier | 1 | Spacing factor. Spacing = 2 × Growth Radius × Coefficient. The default value of 1.0 is the maximum density; if there is "insufficient space" for individual crops, it can be slightly increased (such as 1.05). |
| DebugLogging | false | When enabled, patch details will be output in the log for troubleshooting. |
Fill in the KeyCode name for the key (V, Comma, Period, B, LeftAlt, etc.). You need to restart the game after making changes.
Will it affect achievements?
Won't. This mod does not set Game.isModded, does not touch the character's m_usedCheats, and does not mark items as cheating. PlaceP …
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
