Valheim Too Many Emotes
More than 300 emotes from TooManyEmotes (FlipMods): a paged emote wheel with a live preview, reached from the vanilla emote wheel, a searchable browser, favorites and multiplayer sync.

Features
More than 300 emotes ported from
TooManyEmotes for Lethal Company by FlipMods
(version 2.3.17): waves, cheers, dances and poses, played on your viking on top of its usual
animation. Some emotes have several variants and play one at random each time (Death Pose, Rock
Paper Scissors), and some are bands whose parts players can play together (Jug Band, Travelers).
All emotes are available from the start.
The emote wheel
Open the game's emote wheel as usual (emote key, or Emotes in the radial menu). It first asks
which emotes you want:
- Valheim: the vanilla emotes, exactly as before.
- Too Many Emotes: the Too Many Emotes wheel.
The Too Many Emotes wheel can also be opened directly with its own key (Open key, by default the
key under Escape: ` on QWERTY, ² on AZERTY). Hold it, point at an emote and release to play it; or
tap it and click.
In the Too Many Emotes wheel:
- Point at an emote and click to play it. The centre shows a live preview of the emote under
the cursor, played by a copy of your viking. Clicking the centre stops the current emote.
- Mouse wheel (or the arrows under the wheel): previous / next page.
- Tab (or the names above the wheel): switch list: Favorites, All emotes, Valheim,
Too Many Emotes.
- F: adds the emote under the cursor to the favorites, or removes it.
- B: opens the emote browser. Right click: back to the first wheel. Escape: close.
- Gamepad: right stick to point, the radial interact button to play, d-pad left / right for pages,
d-pad up for the lists, d-pad down for favorites.
A band shows once as a whole (it takes the first part nobody near you is playing, in time with the
others), then once per part ("Jug Band - Fiddle"). Emote names are translated in English and
French.
The emote browser
A window with a search field and four tabs: Favorites, All emotes, Valheim (the vanilla
emotes) and Too Many Emotes. Click a name to play the emote, tick the box on its left to make
it a favorite. Stop ends the current emote, Escape closes the window.
Open it from the Too Many Emotes wheel (B), with the /tme chat command, or with a key of your
choice (Browser key option, none by default).
Chat and console commands
- /tme: opens or closes the browser.
- /tme: plays an emote, by name (/tme best mates, /tme a_bar_song). Tab completes.
- /tme stop: stops the current emote.
During an emote
- The same inputs as for the vanilla emotes end it: moving, attacking, blocking, jumping,
crouching. Dodging, swimming, falling, staggering, sitting down or using a bed or a ship do too.
- What you hold is put away when the first emote starts, and taken back in hand when you stop
emoting (unless you equipped something else meanwhile). Switching emotes keeps it put away.
- A vanilla emote replaces a Too Many Emotes emote and vice versa; you can start one while sitting.
- The emote's own movement stays in the animation: your viking does not slide.
Multiplayer
Emotes are synced through the player's network data, like the vanilla emotes: the other players
see your emotes, and a player who joins or comes near sees the emotes already in progress, at
the right moment. Bands play in time. Every player who wants to see the emotes needs the mod; a
player without it simply sees nothing. A dedicated server does not need the mod.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
