Valhalla's Exiles - Blacktide Full
This is the recommended modpack for the Valhalla's Exiles dedicated Valheim server, Blacktide.
It includes every mod required to connect to Blacktide plus the approved optional client quality-of-life, visual, and achievement mods.
Installation
- Open r2modman or Mod Manager.
- Select Valheim and create/select a profile.
- Search for ValhallasExiles\_Blacktide\_Full.
- Install the latest version and launch Valheim modded.
The package pins the exact mod versions approved for Blacktide. Avoid updating individual dependencies ahead of the Blacktide pack unless instructed, because required server mods use version enforcement.
Extra Mods Included in Full
Compared with the required/minimal pack, Full also includes:
- PlantEasily
- Shield Me Bruh Reforged
- NoTreeStump
- Wield Equipment While Swimming
- Chest Items Hover Display
- Digitalroot's Slope Combat Assistance
- Valheim Visual Enhanced
- GraphicsConfigPlus
- Unshamed
Badgers Valheim Skies
Badgers Valheim Skies is an optional manual visual add-on and is not included pack.
If you install it separately, change its menu key from H to F6. The default H key conflicts with the Clan mod's emoji shortcut.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
