Unified Target Portal
A standalone Valheim 1.0 port of the TargetPortal functionality developed in
Valheim Unified. Walk into a portal, choose any reachable destination on the
large map, and click its pin to travel.
Features
- Server-published portal list, including far-away unloaded zones
- Public/private portals using TargetPortal 1.2.3's original ZDO keys
- Character-local favourite portals and a native map-side favourites list
- TargetPortal 1.2.3's original red/blue portal marker, shown only while choosing a destination
- A clean destination picker that hides every non-portal map marker
- Configurable portal name length, maximum portal count, animation, item
restrictions and default visibility
- Automatically closes the destination map when the player leaves the portal
Install it on the server/host and on every client that uses destination
selection. It is incompatible with the original Smoothbrain-TargetPortal;
do not enable both.
Configuration
Edit BepInEx/config/com.xman0922.unifiedtargetportal.cfg. Defaults match the
behaviour previously shipped in Valheim Unified 0.46.0.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
