Undying Amulet
Installation
- Install BepInEx 5 for Valheim.
- Install Jotunn.
- Download and extract this mod package into your Valheim installation folder.
- Start the game.
After extraction, the mod file should be located at:
BepInEx/plugins/ReviveCharm.dll
Usage
- Craft the Undying Amulet using 20 Resin.
- Keep the amulet in your inventory to activate the mod.
- A compact, slow-rising mist surrounds the player's body from all sides while the amulet is available, and rises from the amulet when it is dropped on the ground.
- While the amulet is off cooldown, sprint speed is increased by 50%, all stamina costs are reduced by 50%, and player-caused damage restores health equal to 20% of damage dealt.
- When you receive lethal damage, the amulet restores 50% health and grants 30 seconds of damage immunity.
- The default cooldown is 30 minutes.
- Cooldown is saved separately for each character and world.
- The amulet is not consumed when activated.
Configuration
The config file is created at BepInEx/config/com.valheimmod.revivecharm.cfg.
- Revive/Enabled (default true) - master switch. When false the amulet never activates.
- Revive/CooldownMinutes (default 30) - cooldown before the amulet can trigger again.
- Revive/InvulnerabilitySeconds (default 30) - damage immunity granted after a resurrection.
The resurrect state is stored on the character, so it survives death, relogging and world switching.
The local player also gets a mirror of the cooldown in the config file, written outside of combat.

BepInEx/plugins/ReviveCharm.dll
Requirements: Valheim 1.0.15 or newer, BepInEx 5.4.2350 or newer, and Jotunn 2.30.2 or newer.
Building from source
The project targets.NET Framework 4.7.2 and references the game and mod-loader
assemblies from the Valheim installation. Install the.NET Framework 4.7.2
targeting pack, Valheim 1.0.15, BepInEx 5.4.2350, and Jotunn 2.30.2 first.
In PowerShell, set VALHEIM_DIR to the Valheim installation directory, then
build the project:
$env:VALHEIM_DIR = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim"
dotnet build.\ReviveCharm.csproj --configuration Release
Use your actual game installation path if it differs. The build expects the
BepInEx, Jotunn, and valheim_Data\Managed assemblies under that directory;
without them, compiler errors about missing game/mod types indicate an
unconfigured or unavailable game installation, not errors in the mod source.
The output DLL is bin\ReviveCharm.dll.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
