About this mod Author’s original text

True Weather Swamp

Clear skies in the Swamp two-thirds of the time. The other third, rain just like it used to.

True Weather Swamp is not about removing rain from the Swamp. Rain is part of what makes the biome feel like the Swamp, and it still has a 33% chance of raining. For comparison, the chance of rain in the Meadows is 9%.

But when it rains all the time, the Swamp can start to feel one-note. The rain makes it harder to see, and can make the buildings you worked on feel less cozy. The Swamp is a rich, beautiful biome in both kinds of weather: its rainy atmosphere has its own charm, and clear skies reveal a different side of it. Now you can admire your builds in the Swamp without taking away the rain that belongs there.

The comparison shows the Swamp in the rain on the left and with clear skies on the right, at midday above and midnight below.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
