SuperDuperMappyZoomer
Lets you zoom into the map so far, you can see individual Viking nose hairs. The programmers never saw this coming.

Super Duper Mappy Zoomer
Have you ever tried zooming into the map and thought "I can ALMOST see my house from here, but not quite"?
Ever squinted at a cluster of pins wondering if that's your epic loot stash or "definitely not where I died embarrassingly"?
Ever wished the zoom limits weren't designed by someone who thinks Vikings have eagle vision?
Wish no more, my cartographically-challenged friend.
The Super Duper Mappy Zoomer lets you magnify your map 100 times beyond what the silly devs thought was "reasonable" -- and if that's not enough for your perfectionist soul, crank it up to 10,000x because why the heck not?
Features that will blow your mind:
- Zoom in so close, you can see the quarks between the pixels!
- Zoom out so far, you can see other dimensions! (Results may vary)
- Fully configurable because we're not monsters.
- Verbose debug mode that spams your console with technical gibberish you probably don't need but might find oddly satisfying!
Why are you still reading this? Download it and start zooming NOW!
Disclaimer
I am not a career programmer. This was actually written by Claude AI, after it helped me decompile a couple other mods so we could see what the heck we were doing. It has been tested rigorously on exactly one computer (mine) and will not of course do anything malicious. Will I update it for the next Valheim update? Maybe. I might be a month late. Don't get angry if it stops working one day. I'm doing my best over here, OK?!
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
