Storage Terminal
Description
Storage Terminal is a quality of life mod for storage. Build a terminal and every linked
chest nearby shows up in one window: merged stacks, search, sort and free space at a
glance. Drop items in and they go to the right chests. Pick a recipe and grab the missing
materials in one click. No cheats, just less inventory juggling.
Installation instructions
With a mod manager (recommended): install with r2modman, Mod Manager or
Vortex. The required mods are installed automatically.
Manually:
- Install BepInExPack Valheim
and Jötunn.
- Copy StorageTerminal.dll into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/StorageTerminal.
- Start the game.
In game: build a Storage terminal (Hammer → Furniture) near your chests, open a chest
and enable terminal insertion and/or terminal withdraw on it, then open the terminal.

- Build a Storage terminal, a new piece that looks like a reinforced chest
- See the contents of all linked chests in range in one scrollable window
- Identical items are merged into one slot with the total amount, so no more ten half-full stacks
- See how much free space is left in your linked chests

- Sort items alphabetically, by type or by amount

- Take items straight from the terminal
- Store items by dropping them into the terminal
- Stack all from your inventory into your storage in one click
- Turn each chest on or off for the terminal, with separate switches for storing and taking
- Choose the defaults for newly built chests
- Link all chests you built in your world at once
- Recipe helper: search any recipe or build piece you know and see its materials and how many you have in storage
- Take materials for a recipe in one click, for as many crafts as you want; only what you're missing is taken
- Inventory space and carry weight checks, with an option to ignore the weight limit
- Configurable range and terminal build cost
Requirements
- BepInExPack Valheim
- Jötunn, the Valheim library
- Singleplayer for now. Multiplayer support is planned.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
