Sosal Meads

Nine unusual meads for Valheim, from fire breath and lightning-charged dodge rolls to troll strength, faster swimming and a very questionable source of forward propulsion.

Every drink has a distinctive bottle, status icon and bowl of mead base. The collection includes 18 custom 3D models, special effects and sounds that nearby players can hear in multiplayer.

| Farting Matvey | 100 s | Movement speed −30%. Periodic loud green gas bursts briefly propel you forward while grounded. |

| Surtling Breath | 120 s | A fire burst every 15 s: 30 fire damage in a 4 m cone. Costs 15 stamina per burst; skips the burst if stamina is insufficient. |

| Goat's Spryness | 120 s | Double jump height and 40% less jump stamina consumption. Occasional goat bleats when jumping. |

| Troll's Kiss | 320 s | Melee knockback ×5 and +700 carry weight. A 50% chance of laughter on a hit. |

| Eel in Your Pants | 240 s | Swim three times faster for one third of the usual swimming stamina consumption. |

| Eikthyr's Heels | 180 s | Run speed +30%. A lightning burst strikes the roll's starting point after 0.5 s, dealing 30 lightning damage within 3 m. 3 s cooldown. |

| Dwarf's Greed | 500 s | Pickaxe damage to ore and stone +50%; pickaxe stamina consumption −40%. |

| Drunken Archer | 180 s | The first bow shot within 5 s of a dodge roll has a 50% chance to deal 50% more damage and stagger on impact. The attempt is spent on firing, even if you miss. Voice lines after drinking and successful empowered hits. |

| Boar's Stride | 120 s | Run speed +40% with normal stamina consumption. A boar grunt when starting a sprint, limited to once every 10 s. |

Brewing

Craft each base at a level 1 Mead Ketill, then ferment it in a normal Fermenter. Recipes unlock after discovering their required ingredients.

Installation and multiplayer

Requires BepInExPack Valheim and Jötunn, installed automatically as dependencies by your mod manager. For manual installation, copy the included BepInEx folder into your Valheim directory.

Install the same collection version on every client and the dedicated server. Fully restart the game or server after installation.

This package includes SosalMeads, FartingMatvey and FireBelchMead. If you previously installed these separately, move the old DLL copies out of BepInEx/plugins before installing this package to avoid duplicates. Existing Matvey and fire-mead item IDs are preserved.

In-game names, descriptions and custom voice lines are currently Russian. The English names above are translations for this page. Set Audio / Volume in BepInEx/config/local.sosal.meadcollection.cfg to adjust the collection's new sounds. Matvey and fire mead have separate volume configuration files.

Notes

• Fire bursts and Eikthyr lightning target hostile creatures, excluding players and tamed animals.
• Drunken Archer works with bows only. Charges do not stack and stagger-immune creatures remain immune.
• Dwarf's Greed affects standard ore and stone
