Solitary Peak QoL
A curated PC quality-of-life pack for the Solitary Peak Valheim server.
The goal is to make Valheim smoother and more enjoyable without turning the server into a major gameplay overhaul. The pack is currently optional: players can still connect to Solitary Peak without it.
Included
Building
- Build Camera Custom Hammers Edition — detached build camera for easier construction.
- Gizmo — expanded building-piece rotation controls.
Interface
- BetterUI ForeverMaintained — improved HUD and UI information.
- AzuClock — configurable in-game clock.
Inventory and crafting
- MouseTweaks — easier item movement and stack handling.
- Quick Stack Store Sort Trash Restock — quick stacking, sorting, restocking, storing and trash controls.
- AzuCraftyBoxes — craft and build using resources from nearby containers.
Equipment
- EquipmentAndQuickSlots — dedicated equipment slots and additional hotkeyable quick slots.
Farming
- PlantEasily — grid planting, bulk harvesting and optional replanting.
- PlantEverything — allows additional gathered resources and decorative flora to be cultivated.
PlantEasily supports the additional plantables provided by PlantEverything.
Easiest player installation
Recommended: r2modman
- Install r2modman from its official page.
- Open r2modman and select Valheim.
- Open the Solitary Peak QoL page and choose Install with the mod manager, or find the pack from the Valheim online package list.
- Let the manager install the pack and all dependencies automatically.
- Click Start modded.
- Join Solitary Peak normally.
After the one-time mod-manager setup, use the same Solitary Peak profile and Start modded whenever you play on the server.
Server compatibility
The dedicated Solitary Peak server currently runs:
- BepInExPack Valheim
- PlantEverything
- Quick Stack Store Sort Trash Restock
These server-side components are configured so that the Solitary Peak QoL pack is not required to connect. Players who use the pack receive the supported mod functionality and synchronized settings where applicable.
Other included QoL mods remain client-side at this stage. We are intentionally not using mod enforcement while the server community is getting established.
Important
- This release otherwise uses the included mods' default client configuration unless a server-synchronized setting applies.
- Valheim 1.0 is scheduled for September 9, 2026. One or more dependencies may require updates after that game update.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
