SmartContainers Ignore
Control automatic deposits with two buttons in the chest window.
Requirements
- BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2351 or newer
- PONEIS SmartContainers 1.8.3 or newer
Client-only: install on each player's client. No server installation is required.
For manual installation, replace the old DLL in
BepInEx/plugins/SmartContainersIgnore. Keep only one copy.
Controls
- Auto AN / AUS: allow or block automatic deposits into this chest.
- Prio AN / AUS: try this chest before ordinary chests. It must already contain
the matching item and have room for the stack. Successful deposits stop the search;
otherwise normal SmartContainers sorting continues.
- Ctrl + left-click: SmartContainers sorting with chest priorities.
- Ctrl + right-click: transfer directly between your inventory and the open chest.
- Right-click: normal use / equip action.
The Prio button is hidden while Auto is off; its saved setting is retained.
Manual transfers still work with blocked chests. Settings are saved with the world
and shared between players using this add-on. Among priority chests, the existing
SmartContainers order is preserved.
Single-item priority chests share a contents hint to skip unrelated items during
the priority search. Changed or uncertain contents use normal checks; mixed and
empty chests have no item restriction. No background inventory scans are added.
Grouping stays off automatically. Other SmartContainers settings remain unchanged.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
