ServerRates
Dedicated-server rates for Valheim — built for crossplay.
PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players all get the same rates. Clients install nothing.
Tune loot, combat, skills, stamina, portals, crafting, and stations from your dedicated server. Console players change rates live in the chat box. Perfect for friends who play with a controller and never open a mod folder.
· Dedicated + BepInEx only
Why this mod?
Most rate mods either need every player to install something, or only offer one blunt “more resources” slider. ServerRates is different:
- Server-side only — vanilla and console clients just join
- Fine loot categories — wood, meat, hides, ore, trophies, and more, not only one global multiplier
- Chat commands for console — /sr_wood 9, /rates status, …
- Live apply — no world restart when you change a rate
- Yellow HUD feedback — e.g. Wood Multiplier x2 when a rate changes
- Full server toolkit — skills, combat, survival, death rules, portals, smelters, plants
If you host a dedicated server for a mixed PC + console group, this is for you.

Install (dedicated server only)
- Install BepInEx on your Valheim dedicated server
- Drop ServerRates.dll into BepInEx/plugins/ServerRates/
- Start the server once → BepInEx/config/com.morda.serverrates.cfg
- Edit the config, use Valheim Server Manager, or use chat / F5 commands
Do not put this mod in a client profile unless you only want chat helpers on PC — rates activate only on a dedicated process.
Clients (vanilla PC, PS5, Xbox): no install.
How values work
| Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Percent | 100 = vanilla · 200 = x2 · 50 = half · 0 = off where it makes sense |
| Multiplier | 1 = vanilla · 2 = x2 · 10 = x10 |
| Toggle | Unchanged · On · Off |
Category loot multipliers stack on top of Resource Rate. They amplify ground piles on the dedicated server after items spawn.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
