About this mod Author’s original text
RunicVault
A shared storage network for your Valheim base. Connect storage blocks to a runic core, then search your stock, craft equipment and build from the same supply. Carry a bound remote to access the network while exploring.
0.7.0 adds new building recipes and biome-based remote upgrades without boss trophies. It also brings the fast transfers, stable item details and inventory-space fixes developed since the last public release. Update the host and every player together.
What you can do
- Browse one item grid with native Valheim icons, search, categories and sorting.
- Craft and upgrade equipment with materials from the connected network and your pocket.
- Build with an ordinary hammer while carrying a bound remote. Normal station, placement, stamina and durability requirements apply.
- Expand from wooden storage blocks to bronze, iron, silver and black metal.
- Improve remote range using biome resources and ritual components.
- Quickly deposit stacks with Ctrl + click, Deposit all or Deposit matching. Equipped, protected and quest items are skipped.
- Transfer only what fits: extra stock stays in storage, and extra deposits stay in their original inventory stacks.
- Use English or Russian UI, following your Valheim language setting.
Storage updates follow changes to the network. Fast clicks are batched, and item details stay in place during transfers. Transfers use a background inventory checkpoint instead of a full character/cloud save each time. Normal game saves still work.
Install
Install RunicVault Mod Manager or r2modman. Dependencies:
- denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim-5.4.2351
- ValheimModding-Jotunn-2.30.2
For manual installation, install those dependencies and copy plugins/RunicStorage/RunicStorage.dll into BepInEx/plugins/RunicStorage. Keep only one copy of that DLL. Install the same version on the server and every client.
Back up your world and characters before updating. Existing RunicVault storage, block levels, bound remotes and paid range upgrades are retained. New recipes apply to future construction and upgrades.
Build your network
Build the core and blocks with your hammer. Blocks within 30 m connect to the nearest core. Press E at a core or block to open the network.

Carry the remote and press Shift + E at the core to bind it. Press G to open the bound network. With the remote in your pocket, an ordinary hammer can draw missing building materials from storage within the remote's range.

The storage cursor withdraws items when you place them in your inventory; right-click cancels it. Collect shows preserved deliveries if space changes during a pending transfer. Free an inventory slot and collect them. Existing deliveries survive updating the mod.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
