Runic Production 2.3.1

Link your stations to chests for ingredients, fuel, finished goods and stock replenishment.

Link a station

Point at the station, use the gesture below, then point at the chest and repeat it within 30 seconds. Hold Shift during both gestures to unlink.

| Gesture | Link |

|---|---|

| Alt + left mouse on ingredient control | Input |

| Alt + left mouse on fuel control | Fuel input |

| Alt + right mouse | Output |

| Alt + middle mouse | Replenishment |

You can use multiple chests for supported roles. One station's output chest can supply another station.

Replenishment

Put an example item into a replenishment chest to set a supported stock target. Adjust reserves and production settings to suit your base. Unavailable linked chests are skipped while usable links continue supplying the station.

Supported work

Smelters, cooking stations, ovens, supported recipe stations and fermenters use their available input, fuel, output and replenishment roles. Beehives support output; refillable fires and lamps support fuel. Stations keep their normal recipes, processing times and environmental requirements.

Keep the production area loaded by a nearby player while you want it to run. Manual station use remains available.

Installation

Install matching versions on the host and participating clients. Configure BepInEx/config/chazman.RunicProduction.cfg. Runic Crafting and Runic Storage are optional. Keep your configuration and RunicOperations data when updating.

Languages

The mod follows Valheim's selected language, with English fallback. Keep the included Translations folder beside the mod DLL when installing manually.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
