Repair Tweaks

Repair tweaks for crafting stations, controlled by the server.

  • Auto-repair: opening a crafting station repairs every damaged item it can repair, and the repair button is hidden. With TradersExtended, opening a trader that repairs does the same at the trader's own price.
  • Repair button mode: one item per click (vanilla) or everything at once. This also applies to the trader repair button of TradersExtended, which keeps its own prices and settings.
  • Per-station repair mode for the workbench, forge, black forge, Galdr table and artisan table:
  • Vanilla: vanilla rules, so each item needs its station level.
  • AssignedAnyLevel: the items the station repairs in vanilla, at any station level.
  • All: every repairable item, at any level.
  • Repair cost (optional): free, a share of the item's crafting materials, or coins. The cost scales with missing durability.

Everyone on the server needs the mod. The server's config is used by everyone connected, and only admins can change it.

Config: BepInEx/config/txc.repairtweaks.cfg

| Setting | Default | |

|---|---|---|

| [1 - Repair] AutoRepair | Off | On = opening a station (or a TradersExtended trader that repairs) repairs everything it can; the repair button is hidden. |

| [1 - Repair] ButtonMode | OneItem | OneItem (vanilla) or All. Also used by TradersExtended traders. |

| [2 - Repair Cost] CostMode | Free | Free, Materials or Coins. |

| [2 - Repair Cost] MaterialPercent | 25 | % of the crafting materials (up to the item's quality) for a fully broken item. |

| [2 - Repair Cost] Coins | 50 | Coins for a fully broken item. |

| [3 - Stations] Workbench / Forge / BlackForge / GaldrTable / ArtisanTable | Vanilla | Vanilla, AssignedAnyLevel or All. |

  • Costs: multiplied by the missing durability and rounded up. Items the player can't pay for are skipped.
  • Other stations: modded stations keep vanilla rules.
  • No-cost cheat: the station modes still apply, unlike vanilla, which repairs everything everywhere with that cheat on.

Console

repairtweaks_info shows the settings and your current station and level. For each damaged item you carry, it shows where the item is crafted, whether it can be repaired at that station, and its cost.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
