Preset For ItemRequiresSkillLevel with EpicMMO

v1.0.3·Updated 2024-10-16

Presets for pretty much all armours/weapons/other things on my server

About this mod Author’s original text

Tryna make my server have a Diablo 2 vibe

I made this for my friends and I and will be testing this out. (So far so good)

Level up from killing monsters on your adventure with EpicMMO and use your stat points to unlock the crafting and use of armours and weapons (ItemRequiresSkillLevel).

Balanced for roughly 10 levels per biome, and as you get further into the game, the stats scale in such a way you will have to make descisions as to what gear you want to use.

You will eventually have to specialize to use the gear you want from the level appropriate biome you're in, thats the idea anyway.

Basically... STAT WALLS

STRENGTH

ENDURANCE

DEXTERITY

INTELLECT

VIGOUR

SPECIAL

All gear is restricted by EpicMMO Stats leading to "emmergent player classes"

Wanna swing big sledge? BIG STRONG. No waste points on brain.

Light armour enjoyer? You must be a Dexterity + Endurance kinda guy

Wanna brew some Alchemical Concoctions for the homies? You've probably got a SPECIAL kind of INTELLECT

and so on...

Included presets

Has presets for all vanilla weapons (except for the club and stone axe) and armors (not the clothes from Hildir)

also includes most of the gear from the following mods: (should work just fine if you dont have these mods installed)

Therzie-Wizardry,

Therzie-Warfare,

Therzie-Armory,

Balrond-balrond_shipyard (theres a few piratey things in here),

OdinPlus-OdinHorse (theres few horsey things in here),

OdinPlus-PotionPlus

Cheb's Necromancy/Mercenaries

Use Smoothbrain's Shut Up mod to stop ItemRequiresSkillLevel log spamming from non EpicMMO stats

Also, The piratey stuff from Balrods Shipyard uses stats from Smoothbrains Sailing Skill as requirements

have fun:)

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.

Dependencies

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
