PinGPS Ymiron
Ctrl+click a map pin to turn it into a GPS waypoint: its icon and distance float on screen while you travel.

PinGPS-Ymiron
Turn any map pin into a GPS waypoint. Open the map, hold Ctrl and left-click a pin: from then on the pin's
icon floats on screen over the real spot in the world, with its name and the distance, while you travel.
[icon]
Troll cave
245 m
- When the destination is out of view (to the side or behind you), the icon sticks to the edge of the screen
with an arrow pointing towards it: just turn until it comes back into view.
- Far away the icon sits on the horizon; once the terrain around the destination is loaded it floats a few meters
above the ground at the exact spot.
- The active pin pulses on the map and minimap.
- When you get there (10 m by default) the GPS turns itself off with a sound and a "You have reached your
destination" message.
- Ctrl + click the same pin again to turn the GPS off; Ctrl + click another pin to switch destination.
Deleting the pin (right click) also turns it off.
- The destination is remembered per character and per world: log out and back in, and the GPS is still on.
Works with every saved pin: your own markers, boss pins from Vegvisirs, tombstones, Hildir's pins...

The file can be edited while the game is running: the mod reloads it on save. It also works from the
Configuration Manager (F1), if installed.
Notes
- The marker is hidden while the map, the inventory, the menu or any text box is open, and when the HUD is hidden.
- Selecting a pin needs mouse and keyboard (Ctrl + click); with a gamepad the GPS still shows, but cannot be set.
- Client side only: the mod applies to whoever installs it. It is not needed on the server.
Installation
- Mod manager (r2modman Mod Manager): Settings > Import local mod and pick the zip.
- Manual: copy PinGPS.dll into BepInEx\plugins.
Requires BepInExPack_Valheim.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
