No Drop Death
Keep your inventory when you die; empty tombstone still marks the spot. One mod, one job.

Teflon Ted's No Drop Death
One mod, one job — no kitchen-sink configs or feature creep.
What it does
When you die, you keep your inventory. An empty tombstone still appears, and the death map pin still drops — you just don't lose your stuff.
Why install it
Vanilla death dumps everything into a gravestone and sends you on a corpse run. This keeps the grave marker for orientation, without the loot-pile punishment.
How to use it
- Install with BepInEx (same as other Valheim mods).
- Die as usual.
- Respawn with your items still on you. The empty tombstone and map pin are still there if you want them.
Does not stop death, skill loss, or food buffs falling off. Client-side — each player who wants this needs the mod.
No config.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
